Eye opening moments

This is what I must've looked like at age 16 watching Close Encounters Of The Third Kind for the first time.

(Mental note* Take my kids to see that on a big screen...As well as 2001.).

Thank you to Misty Harris of Popcultinii for posting this.

I never get tired of watching that film - and my Sunday School teacher was an extra in the final scene when the E.T's come out of the foggy, lit entrance!
Louise, thanks for "de-lurking" in the new followers' section.
I'm especially thrilled that the wife of an OC Register writer reads my random scribblings!
Oh, my God!

How cool is it that you know someone who was IN that scene?!!

I mean, I was raised super Episcopalian and dragged to church every sunday of my life, but I never had my first religious experience until I saw that movie! Seriously.

I love your blog!!!! Hardly "random scribblings," give me a break! -- I'm the one who's spelling and grammar fly out the window whenever I'm all worked up about something.

Glad to hear Peter has a fan in you -- He does love doing Pop Culture so much more than he enjoyed his years as a general assignment news reporter. And I love having a great excuse to watch TV with him and get tickets, occasionally, to cool concerts like Beck! ---- Now, if only I can get him to start reviewing film and theater....hmmm.

Nice to hear from you -- I LOVE your blog (Plastic Bubble World)-- sorry if I don't comment enough -- We have two kids and I work from home, so finding time to not only blog but read other blogs is....a juggling act I'm just now beginning to get used to.

Cheers!

Louise
