Just saw this touching animated short film on Metafilter and had to repost: -- Joel Crawford's animated short centers around the story of Watambi, a heroic squirrel that faces the treachery and judgement of his community. Completely hand drawn over a period of 2 years, the film highlights Joel's exquisite storytelling and character animation technique. The film was scored by Robin Sukhadia and Qasim Naqvi and features a wide range of world music instrumentalists, most notably Grammy Award nominated Ustad Aashish Khan on Sarode.
