Beautiful Day Without You
I've just discovered, Royksopp , a duo from Norway whose work is so compelling, eerie and delicious that I've instantly become huge a fan . This first Royksopp clip, Happy Up Here , creatively weaves an array of visual urban imagery into a wonderful video containing some seriously addictive contemporary music. (I am reminded of work similar to LCD Soundsystem, MGMT or even Beck.) Their second video, A Beautiful Day Without You , is a haunting, yet whimiscal animated journey which is also really creative and unlike anything else I've seen.
