Now that poor Sandra Bullock's marriage seems to have a big huge speed bump, all sorts of reports suggest that there's some sort of "Oscar Curse" going on for women unlucky enough to take home some Oscar gold. (click on the link below) Does a Best Actress Oscar Lead to Divorce? But, then there's the other argument in two words: -- Meryl Streep . Nope. No divorce after this. Maybe a few babies, yes. But, post Oscar divorce? No. And, no. So, I'm pretty sure it's safe for those women out there wearing a wedding ring to keep aiming for those little men of gold. And, if one or two future women-winners ever do end up getting a divorce? Well, all I can say is, don't blame it on the statue.
