"Still Single" S3, E7: Apparently the couch is still occupied.

Sooooo, here we are:  S3, E7 (Which means, Season three, episode 7) BTW:  This is me.  Last summer.  On my third, and final, attempt to get through this book. Back to the show: This week, during the longer than usual winter casting session for Ward/Schaeffer's sequal we learn a few things that kind of jumped out at me, for reasons only The Shadow could possibly shed light on: First we learn that Eric's agent "threw out" Tony Roberts for the so-called "F. Murray Abraham"character, whatever that means. Then we learn that Donal Ward's mom went on a date with Tony Roberts "about 40 years ago."  I wonder why Eric can even afford a seasoned, Tony award-winning actor for this obviously low budget B-Film.  The bad thing about union actors is that they expect fair pay. Anyhow, this led Eric to share that his mom once went out with Henry Gibson. And then, something personal happened when I heard this:  I had this big old flashback to BUHS

Part II "Final Ep." Eric Schaeffer's "I Cant' Believe I'm Still Single," (THE SWIM CONTEST, L.A.)

Well, the great journey has commenced and after all the interviews, the driving, the meetings the deep thoughts from Eric, Mark and Em, we followed the merry trio back to the home of all great art, Los Angeles. Here in LA, Mr. Schaeffer had a screening of all his dates in Los Angeles to get a democratic perspective, aka, votes from his friends, to modify what he was going to do anyway. But, not before the following: Remember the woman, Erin, from our last segment? The woman he improvised an interview with on his way to meet with his Colorado date, Lauren? You know, the one I said was interesting and complex? Yeah, apparently Eric remembered Erin, from his previous segment, too. And before he could even get out of Colorado Eric inexplicably begins to spew a gross, lurid sex-fantasy ramble about, not the he was on a date with that night, but "a dream" about her girl friend, who did nothing at all but answer a few questions of Eric on his way into the date. It was b

American Idol New Rules

First of all, I admit I'm mad because Allison should have stayed in the game and Danny should have gone home last week. No Doubt (who impressed me by NOT lip synching last week) Allison and Adam should have been chosen for the final duel on American Idol. But, for the record, here are LOUISE'S AMERICAN IDOL NEW RULES #1: Sorry, but Adam is not allowed to win American Idol if every high note he hits makes him look like a regurgitating iguana. Everyone knows he can sing his ass off. Especially, Adam. But he needs to drop the Liza Minelli drag act for at least one song, as well as hit high notes without sticking his tongue out like that. It's gross. Why the hell doesn't he just do a Heart song? That is who he sounds like. And #2. And Danny can not sing a bet-you-think-I'm-singin'-bout my-dead-wife song to win. Also, he appears smug and it bugs me. Kris can stay in the game if he continues to seem humble and continues picking interesting songs to cover
