So, while Rome burns and with 30 days to go Conservatives continue to gush over Palin being 'a babe,' 'attractive,' 'hot.' Do Republicans note her political accomplishments? Her mind? Her quick thinking and handling of serious issues? Nope. It's still all " wink, wink, nudge, nudge" ... Still . THIS is what they are saying about the VP candidate now. Amazing. She knows it. They know it. But, does America know it? Do they know how manipulative this kind of ploy is? I mean, you can't wave a magic wand over the red states and say "It's okay. You can wake up now." But, you can hope and pray that our fellow country folk are not as stupid as the GOP is assuming we are. At least, I can hope that for us. Please wake up, America.

Like when it's 30 days before an election. Here's a whining and blaming clip of Sarah Palin with her astonishing statement that she thinks Obama's comments should disqualify him for running for president. Uh, right. As if. Then for the bullying and Type A for Asshole clip of Bill O'Reilly blaming and bullying Mr. Frank for the financial mess. They must be at the end of their collective rope, is what I think. We sure are.

My husband was late to an appointment with me today because he said he had "so much work to get done." He went on to add he "had to" interview a porn star for Larry Flynt's next movie. To which I responded, "Really? Who?" (Not, I should add, that I would know one name from another. It just seemed like a natural question to ask.) Pete said that Larry Flynt hired a local girl, "Lisa Ann," a local 36-year-old adult movie actress from Huntington Beach, to play Sarah Palin in his next porn film titled "Nailin' Palin." In the meantime, till Mr. Flynt finishes getting his sexist send up of McCain's pin-up girl off the ground, we still have this far less sexist trailer to this "Disney Movie" called Head Of Skate.
