Why Vermont is perhaps the perfect place for summer "white" parties, and surprise weddings

This summer my girls and I were invited to a Downton Abbey-style summer white party, which, as luck would have it, was also a secret, surprise wedding celebration between an old childhood friend and her love.

What could be more lovely than an exchange of heartfelt vows under moonlight in Vermont?
Nothing, I think, for last night was the perfect gathering of friends both new and old to celebrate commitment and joy.

And we were very honored to be included:
~ Congratulations to Amy and Liz!!!

There was music, merriment, a few gin and tonics, cake and the sound of happy people in the air.
