It's President's Day. I can't wait till that's something to get excited about.

It's our national holiday, President's Day. So important they don't deliver mail or send kids to school. Because "they" have assumed we will remember our dead leaders so much more effectively with the day -- to shop.

Holiday? No. It's the day parents endure because we have to, that's what it is. Nobody anywhere is sitting around contemplating past presidential moments of genius.

And so...my kids are home from school. I have more of the same cold I had a week ago. My sinus surgery's "improvements" have, so far, been laughably underwhelming.

I'm just as stressed and behind the 8-Ball as everyone else...And yet, somehow, in all the chaos, I stumble upon this video clip and I know that everything's gonna be okay.

And so, I offer you this tribute to things are fun, even if this guy was never remotely presidential.

Remember to bookmark and review this clip the next you're about to throw a Pity Party.

Okay--So, here's the thing. I had this hilarious clip from YouTube of Andy Kaufman pretending to cry and then morph into a bongo percussion performance. It really was brilliant. But, "they" pulled the clip off the web.
BUT -- if you ever see it again, know it inspired this blog post.
